Our programs are designed to enhance Next Generation Science Standards. Choose from one of our program topics or customize to create your own experience. Wild Writing: Nature Journaling Club

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 am
Nature journaling is a global movement blending art, science and exploration of the natural world. Engaging in nature journaling enhances observational skills, fosters a deeper connection to nature and nurtures artistic expression.
Participants ages 18 and up of various skill levels are welcome. No prior experience necessary. This program is FREE thanks to our partnership with Little Miami Conservancy. Register HERE.

Join experienced Naturalists as we explore East Loveland Nature Preserve for the Great Backyard Bird Count! Register HERE.

Join experienced Naturalists for a hike on the trails of Symmes Township Park while learning some tips and tricks for winter tree identification. Register HERE.
Scenic Saturday Nature Series with the Little Miami Conservancy
Unplug & reconnect with the great outdoors! The Roaming Naturalist & The Little Miami Conservancy are teaming up to provide unique, outdoor learning experiences to families with kids of all ages. Each program will feature a different theme in nature, hands-on activities and a short hike. Programs take place rain or shine - please dress for the weather. Programs noted with a (*) require pre-registration. This educational partnership is free and open to the public.
All programs are 1 hour from 10:00am - 11:00am at the LMC Scenic River and Trail Center.

The Roaming Naturalist Book Club
Are you interested in learning more about the natural world, sharing your thoughts & ideas with others to create change? The purpose of the Roaming Naturalist Book Club is to empower others to reconnect with nature & 'read for a change'. Participants will enjoy engaging, thought-provoking discussions & our amazing list of books. Meeting will take place once a month and be a mix of in-person & virtual.
The Roaming Naturalist believes that everyone has a right to connect with nature & the opportunity to inspire change and make a difference now and for future generations. We are an inclusive organization & everybody is welcome. No payment is required. Please register here.
